Mauri with Hudson’s at Main Street is a staple in the community. Mauri and her crew go above and beyond in everything they do. From themed events to customer service, they show out every time. The most special part about Hudson’s is the heart behind it. Mauri does so much for the community, small businesses and just about anyone she comes in contact with. The part that shows her true character is she continues to help when she is in need herself. The acts of service Mauri and her crew continue to do speak volumes. It’s no secret not being able to serve alcohol temporarily at Hudson’s has put a significant strain on business. However, when the government shut down and benefits were paused, Mauri started making sandwiches for anyone who needed it. Hudson’s has a board posted with prepaid meal tickets that anyone can come and redeem at any time. No questions asked. There have been countless times I’ve witnessed Mauri continue to help and pour love into the community when she actually needs it the most. I think it’s time for community to pour back into what she puts out into the universe which is pure love and a heart of giving. The way I see Mauri, is it could be pouring down rain, but she will offer her umbrella to someone who needed it more. That’s just who she is.
