Paws Humane Society is excited to introduce the Silent Night Foster Program, an initiative to ensure every pet in their care experiences the love and comfort of a home during the holiday season. From December 20, 2024, to January 6, 2025, they invite you to open your heart and home to an animal in need. Together, let’s create a joyful holiday—for them and for you.
What is the Silent Night Foster Program?
The program is simple yet powerful: community members temporarily welcome a shelter pet into their homes during the holidays. Whether it’s for a few days, a week, or the full two weeks, your kindness provides a pet with an invaluable gift—relief from the shelter, companionship, and the feeling of being loved.

How to Join the Silent Night Program
Joining is as easy as spreading holiday cheer:
- Sign Up: Complete your foster application at pawshumane.org/get-involved/foster-care.
- Pick Up Your Furry Guest: Starting December 20, 2024, visit Paws Humane to meet and bring home your holiday companion.
- Celebrate the Season Together: Snuggle by the fire, take festive photos, or share their story on social media—your foster pet will become part of your holiday memories.
- Return or Adopt: After January 6, 2025, either return your foster pet or make them a permanent member of your family.
